Again, iPod

The never-ending saga continues. Because… my iPod is working again.
“How?!”, I hear you gasp in amazement.
Well, because I stopped synchronising with the FireWire-cable and switched to USB.
“But how can this be,” you will say, baffled.
Dear readers, I haven’t a clue. And neither has the Apple support desk. But fact is, after 8 (EIGHT) hours of synchronizing, I have my entire 20 Gb back where it should be. For how long, no one knows, but iPod and I are back together. For now.

Frellin’ iPod

I DON’T BELIEVE IT!!!! My frellin’ iPod has DIED. AGAIN. This is my third one within a year and a half and each time they die faster. The first one after 11 months, the second after 5 months and this one after five weeks. Last time it was very difficult to make Apple fix it under guarantee. Now I don’t know what it’s going to take. I’m starting to believe I’m jinxed. What I do to them? I just use it! Carry it in my hand, put it in my bag, attach it to my car stereo, computer(s), JBL loudspeaker, ear plugs, microphone… I don’t throw it, thrash it, jump on it. I treat it with loving care. Bought it a rubber suit, a fur coat and a cradle. But the wee bastards just freeze on me. I’ve tried brain surgery, electric shocks, frequent stroking, even more frequent swearing… But all I get is an Apple logo, an error folder, and a black look.

Oh my goddess

They send me a brand new iPod to replace my sick one. Brand new. Not a scratch on it!!!
Speechless. I came home late tonight and there it was.

And it gets stuffed in an iSkin the moment it arrives.
